The Big Seaweed Search Community Presentation
How do we care for our local Seaweeds at this time of ecological instability and climate change?
Curious about Hornby Islands Seaweed?
Join speakers Chaya Max Mills, Heather Royal rant, and Dr. Bridgette Clarkson and take a dive into "The Big Seaweed Search", a citizen science program that has been running since spring. Come see the data collected by our community mebers and how we are learning to look at and care for our environment through an Indigenous lens!
📍Meet us at the Room to Grow building, found next to the school, on October 26th. Doors will be open at 6:15 and the presentation will begin at 6:30.
Entry is free but we always appreciate donations to the Hornby Island Natural History Centre who are running this research program. Get your tickets here.
